Tide Tables 2013

The 7th edition of the "IRELAND TIDE TABLES" for 2013 has just been published and is a must-have for all seafarers and those whose lives and property are affected by the sea and tides. IRELAND TIDE TABLES 2013 includes a very useful map of the Met Eireann marine weather services, a list of weather-service telephone numbers, the RTE & BBC weather-forecast schedule, an invaluable map of the "Irish Coast Guard" & "NI Coastguard" Marine VHF communications network with times of weather forecasts, and a must know "MAYDAY PROTOCOL". Tidal times and heights (reproduced by permission of the UK Hydrographic Office) are provided for the five Primary Ports of Dublin, Cobh, Galway, Tarbert Island & Belfast, together with local variations for 120 Secondary Ports around the Irish coast. Also included are the daily maximum and minimum time and height differences for high tide at all ports. It is the only pocket-sized tide tables book covering the whole Irish coastline, and is now available nationwide. This well-designed, full-colour publication utilises colour-coding on the cover to enable quick location of the required Primary Port: blue for Dublin, red for Cobh, maroon for Galway, yellow for Tarbert & grey for Belfast. A new feature, at the bottom of each page, is a quick reference guide to the most popular secondary ports connected to each Primary Port. In addition to tidal predictions, the booklet also provides precise details for phases of the moon, together with highlighted dates to enable quick visual identification of Spring and Neap tides, and an explanation of when they occur.
